Mason Allen

Mason Allen Hough
Born: June 28th 7:11pm
7lbs 6oz
20 inches long
I was only in labor for 2 hours and we made it to the hospital only 15 minutes before Mason arrived! So of course, no time for pain medication! It's okay though...he was well worth the pain. He is perfect. Here are a few pictures.
The whole family.
Madison is such a proud big sister! She is very excited about Baby Mason.

Proud Daddy.

Going Home!

He seems so little in his big ole crib!

Mason and I got to come home today around 10:30. It's good to be home! We are both doing great. Madison was very excited to have Baby Mason come home and she is a great big sister. She wants to help with everything and she is really doing great with him.

Wild Adventures

Hello everyone. First, I want to brag on my wonderful husband. At work he is being nominated for NCO of the quarter. He was picked out of the whole 75th weapons squadron. If he wins the NCO of the quarter, he can then go up for NCO of the year. I'm so proud of him! Anyways, since he's been doing so well at work, they gave him today (Friday) off just because. He didn't ask for it or anything, they just told him to take a day off. So, we took advantage of it and went to Wild Adventures.
Here is Madison on her new favorite ride...the roller coaster.
Madison feeding nectar to a bird.
She got to ride a real pony. She was so excited!
She also got to release a pigeon. Here is the guide handing over the pigeon.
Counting to 3 till we throw it up in the air.
And it's off. You can see the pigeon at the top of the picture flying off. She was really excited after she did this. She kept saying, "I did it, I did it!"
Madison loves going to Wild Adventures. I'm sure we will be buying season passes for many more years to come! I was hoping all the walking would help little Mason along, but nothing yet. Hopefully he'll decide to make an appearance soon!

Madison

Hey everybody! Here are some pictures that Madison had taken at school several weeks ago. A company came in and dressed them up and had all the old props and everything. I thought they turned out so cute! I have some printed ones which I will be sending out shortly.
I think these two with the phone are my favorites!

then and now...

Some of you may remember last year when Leslie, Madison and I went down to the Naylor River. There were few spots you could swim but most of it could be walked. Here's a shot of then:

Now in the previous picture the ATV is on a sandbar. Today that sandbar is about 1-2 feet under water. Where Leslie and Madison are the river is pretty deep and moving quickly.

Yesterday Leslie, Madison and I again went down to the river. We had the ATVs but there wasn't any crossing this time. Here's a picture of Leslie and Madison just floating down the river:

What we did was take one ATV down river and left it. Then we went to the beginning and just floated on down. Next time anyone is in town and wants to go down the river like a real redneck...let me know.
Regards, Jason, Madison and Leslie

Summer Fun

Hello everyone! Just posting up some new pictures of Madison. She loves getting to stay home in the Summer although she does talk about her friends at school all the time. I'm glad I get to spend all this time with just me and her before Mason comes.
Here she is playing in the sprinkler yesterday.

Madison playing outside earlier today.

Madison posing by the flowers. She loves it when she goes outside and there's a new flower...she gets so excited!

Just like her Momma, always taking pictures!

Wild Adventures

Jason had a half day at work today, so we decided to go to Wild Adventures this afternoon. Here's our big girl getting on the roller coaster. She loves it!

In pregnancy news....nothing new really. Just playing the waiting game now!

Mason's room

Hey everyone! Well, Mason's room is finally ready for him. All I'm waiting on is the mobile to come in. Here are a few pictures from his room.
The changing table.
The crib.

Congratulations to Lisa and Derek on the birth of their baby girl. Avery was born on Saturday, June 6th at 2:34 pm. She weighed 7lbs 4oz and was 20 inches long. She is absolutely gorgeous and I can't wait to meet her in person.

Big Girl!

It's official...I have a big girl now! Madison is out of her baby furniture and into new big girl furniture now. It's kinda sad, it seems like she's growing up so fast!
Anyways, here's a shot of the 3 pieces we bought: the bed, dresser, and bookcase. It's an antiquie white color which looks really good against the pink walls. I just need to hang some stuff on the walls now so they don't look so bare.
All her toys stay on one side of the room now (we'll see how long that will last!)

She loves her new princess bed!

And here she is last night going to bed in it for the first time. She actually did really well, and didn't wake up at all in the middle of the night. As you can see, she still has to have her "piglet blankie." That is the comforter from her baby bedding set that she can't part with:)

Mason's bedding should be here on Monday, so I will post up another blog once I get his room finished.
In other news, my sister, Lisa and her husband Derek, are being induced today. So hopefully by the end of the day they will be holding their precious baby girl. Pray for a quick and easy delivery, and a happy, healthy baby!

Hey everyone! Just posting up a few new pictures.
Here's Madison helping Daddy cut the grass.
And here's a few pictures of Madison playing with her friends. These little girls are the grandkids of our neighbors across the street. Everytime they come in town, they always have so much fun
together, I wish they lived here!

More pictures will be coming in the next few days. We get Madison's furniture on Saturday, so I will post up pictures when we get her's and Mason's rooms set up. I already got the chest of drawers moved in Mason's room (well Jason moved it), and I have washed and put away 3 loads of clothes for him. Hopefully Madison will make a good transition to her big girl bed....keep your fingers crossed!

I am now 36 weeks pregnant! I had a doctor's appointment today and I am 1 cm dilated. The baby's heartbeat sounded good at 155 beats/minute. I will start going to the doctor weekly now. Hopefully only 3-4 more weeks until we get to meet our little man!
Here is a picture from our baby shower last weekend. Thanks to everyone who came and for all the wonderful gifts. It was great to see everybody, and next time we are in PC, we will have a new addition!
