Madison showing off her mask that she painted at school.
She's doing so good at school...I can't believe she will start pre-school next year! Where did all the time go, it seems like she was just a little baby.

Bath time with Mason. He still loves taking a bath. And he is laughing now, it is too cute. One day when Jason and I are both home at the same time, we will try and catch it on video.

My adventure with Poison Ivy.

Warning...Nasty content ahead!!! Totally work safe though:)

So last Friday I went with my Biology professors to some woods south of town that VSU owns to clear some paths for an uncoming field trip for the rest of the class. After about an hour of manual labor with cutting vines and such...my teacher points out was poison ivy looks like! I was worried because I had touched all kinds of plants.

Well fast foward to Sunday. I started getting a little itchy. I though maybe I had been bit by some fleas since I groomed Jack on Saturday. Anyway... it turned out like this....

Here's my wrist Tuesday at about 5am in the morning:

Here's my wrist about 10 minutes ago.
And here's my left ankle. The worst of the bunch. It oozes 24/7. Sucks butt no doubt

Right ankle

Inner portion of my right elbow

Now mind you these are the worst. I have more small spots all over to include my forehead, nose, cheek, chin, beside my right eye, left ear, chest, upper left leg, all up and down my shins and randomly on my arms.
I finally gave in today and went to the Dr. He gave me 15 days of prednisone and some medicine to help me sleep. Also I got a waiver for 5 days not to have to wear boots at work and no outside work. When I did get to work tonight they let me go home out of sympathy!
But other than this...my health is fine and I promise it looks worse that it feels. I have to walk funny so my ankles don't bend but I'm in good spirits about it.
Live and learn!
Peace,
Jason

My Beautiful Children...

Apparently whatever was on TV was more interesting than the camera:)

Madison and Mason before church this morning.
Madison said she didn't want to take a picture by herself, she wanted Mason with her. She's such a good big sister!

This one's for you, Mama Sue and Paw Paw:)

Funny Conversations

As we all know, Madison can come up and say the silliest things. Well, I wanted to share a couple converstions that she's had lately. The first one was when she was with Aunt Lacey and Uncle Zach at a birthday party 2 weekends ago.
Aunt Lacey: "Madison, what do you want to be when you grow up?"
Madison: "A princess."
Uncle Zach: "Well, who's going to be your prince?"
Madison: "Daddy."
I thought that was so sweet how she wants Daddy to be her prince.
And here's something she just told me this morning:
Madison: "Me and Mommy are girls. And Daddy and Mason are boys.
Daddy and Mason don't have any hair, they just have heads. (Pausing to think for a moment)
Well, they just have a little piece of hair."
Mommy: cracking up laughing.
This girl is too cute, and kids really do say the darndest things! I wish I could just video tape her whole life!
Sorry, no new pictures today. I did make an appointment today for us to get some professional family pictures taken next Sunday. And they will also be Mason's first pictures, so hopefully everyone will cooperate:)

4 Generations of Hough men.

Mason talking to Great-Grandpa Hough.

Madison telling Great-Grandpa Hough "Happy Birthday."

Madison is such a good eater. She chose apples at subway instead of chips or a cookie!

We had a great time in PC even though we were there for less than 24 hours.

Jason and Mason chilling on the couch and watching TV.

Trying out our new camera on the kiddos.
I think I might have the cutest kids in the world!

We will be in PC this weekend for Jason's Grandpa's 75th birthday. It will be a short trip though. We'll get there Saturday morning and leave Sunday morning.
